MANAGEMENT

The Alta Vista Foundation is administered by an Executive Director who lives on site, and is governed by a board of trustees.

Stephanie Boyman joined Alta Vista as Executive Director in 2024. Previously, she served as Director of Residential Services at Arden Wood and worked in the Student Life Department at The Principia School in St. Louis. She also enjoyed serving as Director of Outreach and Development at Peace Haven in St. Louis.

Stephanie has served on the boards of The Principle Foundation–St. Louis, Midland House, CS Nursing Home–Indianapolis, and the ORH Board. She currently serves on the Board of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Santa Barbara, as well as The Powell Crown Foundation supporting Christian Science organizations.

A certified Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach, Stephanie has enjoyed helping individuals explore career interests and navigate professional transitions.

Stephanie and her husband Todd have spent much time in Santa Barbara over the years and are delighted to be fully engaged at Alta Vista and in our local community.

Stephanie can be seen touring the grounds, chatting with residents, contractors, and walking with Mia, her gregarious pup. Her innate joy and discovery of the wonders of Alta Vista are palpable to everyone who meets her.
